The Museum is located in downtown San Jose at the intersection of Woz Way and Auzerais Street, near the McEnery Convention Center and the Center for the Performing Arts.

Public Transportation
VTA Light Rail and Bus:
Take the Blue Line (Baypointe-Santa Teresa) to the Discovery Museum station, or the Green Line (Old Ironsides-Winchester) to the Convention Center station.
Take VTA bus lines to stops on Almaden Boulevard.
Train:
Take the train to San Jose.
Use the Transit App or use the Transit button in Apple/Google Maps to plan your bus/train trip on your phone. Children under 5 ride VTA for free. Get a Clipper Youth Card for your child age 5-18.
Parking
There are several public and privately-owned parking lots located in the vicinity of the Museum. Children’s Discovery Museum does not own or manage parking facilities.
Public parking (starting at $7.00, with increased rates on high-demand days) available in lots on Woz Way, Auzerais Street, and Almaden Boulevard. For additional downtown parking information, see ParkSJ.
Parking for people with disabilities available in all lots; limited free handicap parking is available in the drop-off lane on the Museum’s west side (enter Woz Way from Almaden).
Parking Notes:
Machines at the Woz/87 lot take Visa and MasterCard and also has a text-to-pay option. The Auzerais Parking Lot has an attendant and takes cash (and gives change for larger bills), debit payments, and credit payments. The Museum does not reimburse for parking fees.
