Say hello to Roofus, the officially named rooftop duck of Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose. After thousands of creative submissions and votes from our amazing community, our beloved yellow duck finally has a name, and Roofus couldn’t be more excited!
Perched high above the Museum, Roofus spends the day watching the world go by. From planes soaring overhead to cars zipping along Highway 87, there’s always something interesting to see. Curious and cheerful, Roofus loves imagining where everyone is headed and greeting families as they arrive at the Purple Museum.
Thank you to the thousands of children and families who helped bring Roofus to life through our community naming campaign. Your creativity, imagination, and enthusiasm made this moment, (and the big reveal!) truly special.
