10:30 am – 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

Join us this Sunday for a day of discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun! Our STEAM-focused activities are designed for all ages – everyone is welcome to explore, experiment, and learn together.

This week, explore Density – a hands-on investigation into how objects behave in water. Why do some things float while others sink? What makes the difference? Test your ideas, make predictions, and discover the science behind how objects interact in water. Come find out!

About STEAM Sundays

This special program is led by high school volunteers Michelle and Kevin from Kathleen MacDonald High School. Michelle is especially curious about the brain and hopes to become a neurologist one day – did you know your body can still function and move normally with only half a brain? Kevin’s passion lies in chemistry; he’s been fascinated by chemical reactions ever since he watched a video about “elephant toothpaste” as a kid.

Children and families will dive into exciting concepts across physics, neuroscience, chemistry, and biology – all through playful, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and imagination.
